Balance update v37: similar-card cleanup
Ember Magus now adds a Spark, Old Fortune costs 3 with a random target, Dune Arena grants First Strike and Wandering Beetle is 4/4. No decks changed.
Four cards were too close to other cards — or simply worse versions of them. Each one now has its own job. No decks changed.
Kaelen
- Ember Magus (3 mana 3/3) — Warcry now also adds a Spark to your hand (still deals 1 damage to an enemy character). Since v36, Flame Adept beat it in every way; the Spark now feeds Kaelen's spell and Spark cards.
Neutral
- Old Fortune — now 3 mana: deal 3 damage to a random enemy character and draw a card (was 4 mana, 4 damage to any character). Cheaper, but class burn spells stay the most precise.
- Dune Arena — friendly monsters now get +1 attack and First Strike (durability 4, was 5). It is now the only card that gives your whole board First Strike.
- Wandering Beetle — 4/4 Guardian (was 4/3), so it is no longer just a 3-mana Guardian at a higher cost.
