Rarities and crafting
Rarity is shown by the gem on a card's frame. It sets how many copies you may put in a deck and how much Essence a card costs to craft or gives when disenchanted.

Crafting and disenchanting
Any card except Basic can be crafted with Essence, the crafting currency. Disenchanting a card destroys it and gives you Essence back — useful for spare copies above the deck limit. You can't put more than the copy limit of one card in a deck (Legendaries: 1, everything else: 2).
Basic cards
Basic cards are free: every player owns them from the start. They can't be crafted, disenchanted or found in packs.
What's in a pack
A pack contains 5 cards from its set and always at least 1 Rare or better card. Duplicate protection makes copies you can't use less likely.
